ABOUT ME

I am a photographer from Prague who has just started studying MA Film at Solent University in the UK, where I focus more on audiovisual and documentary production. I originally studied German language and philosophy. I've just always been more drawn to art and creative self-expression. I am also very interested in visual arts, feminism and politics.

MY WORK

In my work, I always focus on a person and his most natural version of himself, which I try to capture in all its authenticity. That's why documentary production is something I would like to focus more on in the future, bringing to light topics that are unnecessarily too dark.

MY PROCESS

I first started taking pictures with an analog camera. Then I bought my first digital camera, which made me realize that I was more fascinated by video. The first videos were wedding videos, which I still watch from time to time. At the same time, I shot videos that had some philosophical idea - for example, the question of religion. And also videos that were supposed to capture a certain emotion or atmosphere. Today, I take my photos only with an analog camera, and for videos I use the technique according to the format.
